SunAir Systems is a solar electric and small wind turbine installer located in the Northern Illinois area. We are passionate with helping others in the design, purchase, and installation of renewable energy systems for your home or small business. We are an active company with over 60 installations in just the last year.

Our company is unique to other installers in the area because we encourage owner participation in the installation of their projects. First, this will lower the installation cost to them (Otherwise, I would hire work assistants - might as well be you if willing and able-bodied). Second, owners will learn more about how their systems work, and in turn increase their enjoyment in ownership.

From our experience, about a fourth of our customers like to help with common tasks they are comfortable with, such as tightening bolts, digging foundation holes, and connecting solar panels. For other costumers who are already experienced in construction / electrical work, and we can operate as a consultant with design and equipment recommendations. We will order all parts from our wholesale distributors and help insure that your installation will meet all local and state code specifications.

Of course if you prefer that we do all the work, we are always willing to provide a fully-installed system. Any method of installation you choose will result in a fun, affordable and satisfying solar and/or wind system. With today's environment of higher electric utility costs and the prospect of rising energy prices, we focus on keeping your system an affordable and cost effective alternative. In fact, we have up-to-date information on available incentives in Illinois - and can aid you in the application process.
